Who are Worksforyou?
The workers at Worksforyou are local young athletes and University students, studying courses from Ag Science, Teaching, Business, Physio, Social Work to Graphic Design and Veterinary Science and athletes from local rugby and sporting clubs, NRL clubs, John I Dent and Shute shield Rugby clubs just to name a few.
These young men and women are young, fit and keen to get stuck in to what ever tasks you have for them. We also employ locals outside of the University campus, making sure when University and athletic programs have to take preference (exam time, prac, tours and representative duties), we can still supply a workforce for you. We are extremely proud of what we do and the positive outcomes we bring for not only the young athletes and students, but helping local business succeed further by supplying QUALITY staff, to value add as needed in their business.
Worksforyou has employed more than 3500 students and athletes(as of Feb 2024) and there is no doubt the staff are the reason for our success at Worksforyou. We look forward to supplying your business, no matter what the task, with a workforce you can rely on, short term or at short notice. With an extremely broad range of clients, including events, hospitality, harvest, building and construction, machinery dealers, plumbers, local and State Governments and municipalities, Worksforyou is the only call to get the job done when you need extra workers in Wagga Wagga, Canberra, Bathurst or Sydney and surrounding areas.
Our History
Will Mitchell our CEO started Worksforyou in September 2017, with a handful of Ag College students from Charles Sturt University Campus in Wagga Wagga. Understanding the barriers for University students to find work, Will created Worksforyou. Worksforyou is a labour solutions company/temp staffing agency that employs University students and now young athletes, providing them with casual work, based around their academic and athletic programs.
In our first year, we managed to gain 35 clients and pay nearly 200k to students at Wagga CSU.
As of early 2024, Worksforyou Australia has grown to multiple cities, we work with Global and National companies and pay millions of dollars to staff each year, with clients in the hundreds. We also still work with some of our original clients, not forgetting where we come from and what we stand for. Business size does not matter to us- people do.
We are very proud to see young Australians who are looking to progress there lives and support them in doing this, weather its becoming a Wallaby or Wallaroo, play NRL, finish a degree, having a gap year or even help finding a trade.
